School Children Needed to Grow Seeds
Will your school participate?
We need local Dayton schools to participate in a seed planting project that will begin soon.
We provide the soil and seeds and students provide the recycled containers. Children will recycle empty juice boxes, toilet paper rolls and plastic bottles. These materials will be used as containers to plant seeds for germination.
Teachers will pick a seed type and time for planting that fit their science or math curriculum. Choose from vegetables or flower seeds.
The seedlings will be planted in our garden in the spring.

Visit the garden to watch your seedlings provide our community with fresh healthy vegetables!
The end of winter is the perfect time to start the clean-up of the spaces in the garden that aren't being used to produce food.
We've identified a number of projects to beautify the gardens, and we could use your help!
Tree Removal - a perfect in-kind donation for a local tree service company.
Creation of landscaped beds
Installation of decorative fencing
Planting of foundation plants
We hope to address the parking issues with new parking spaces as well.
Donations of goods and services or cash donations would be helpful in helping us renovate the space.
